We have over 3000 acres of secluded forest for a variety of Fall/Winter Activities.

Located in the middle of Central New York's Tug Hill region, our MAD RIVER LODGE sleeps up to 10 people and is nestled in the middle of New York State Forest land.

Our most popular weekend getaway is our 3 day Snowmobile Weekend.  Average snowfall on "The Hill" exceeds 200 inches annually.  Choose either the Mad River Lodge, in the heart of New York's best snowmobiling country, or stay on the paved road at Moosehead Lodge, just two miles from access to over 1200 miles of groomed New York State Snowmobile Trails. 

Enjoy group rides with members of TC Riders Snowmobile Club or choose to explore the trails on your own.  Our guests average between 60-80 miles per day on our 2-up sleds, which are 2 seater snowmobiles, perfect for a couple or a Parent/Child ride.  Bring your appetite and thirst with you,, as there are a number of pubs and watering holes right on the trails !!
